Principle Chief White Deer

Rev. Brenda C. Andrews
Charles Town, WV.

* My ancestors have given me the wonderful gift of being both Cherokee and Scottish. I am honored to have the opportunity to know my blood line. Some First Nation American Indians (full bloods) would most likely shun me as I claim to be Cherokee. The quantum is so small that it matters not to them. I do not wish to be "recognized" by our Federal Government or any tribe that would not want me. I am recognized by those that count. My family and my Indian family. We are given right under the Constitution of the United States of America to live our lives as we choose as long as we are upstanding, honorable and law abiding citizens. I choos
e to live as Cherokee/American Indian. I do my best to live as my ancestors have taught me and to honor all those upon this Mother Earth and that must include those that shun me. I pray for them *

Vice Principal Chief Cloud that Waters

National Treasurer Eagle of Peace

Robert Andrews
Charles Town, WV.

*I am Cherokee by Marriage as I have no Indian blood that I know of. I was adopted so there is a possibility there. Being Cherokee is an honor for me. I enjoy the activities and ceremonies very much. Learning about the Native American history and life is very interesting. I am a member of White Thunder Drum and enjoy the events we do in celebration of the
Cherokee/American Indian heritage.*

National Secretary Where the Wind Begins

Nancy Jones
Conneaut, Ohio

* I do not know if I have Native American Indian Blood, but my heart and soul feels Native American... I have been blessed to be adopted by Chief 'White Deer'... She is a true Friend , Sister, very Honest and Loving person... I am proud to have been accepted in to her Family and to call her my SISTER...
I do not know many things of the native ways but I am learning as I go... Some things come to me naturally and others are a do over and over process... The one thing about my new Indian Family is that we are all learning together and some of us know more than others... Learning and sharing ideas are great, it brings us closer together...
Enjoying the Journey*
